Development of Sea Glider Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (SG-AUV) for Marine Exploration and Monitoring

Abstract


This paper discusses the pre-design and future development of SG-AUVITB platform designed and developed by ITB called SG-AUVITB. Its hardware is reconfigurable enabling the researchers to change the placement of the sensors for testing different navigation scenarios. Also the hardware components are re-usable. This reduces the coding and testing time.
