Robotics in Last-Mile Delivery for E-Commerce

Abstract


Robotics is increasingly being utilized in last-mile delivery for e-commerce, addressing the challenges of urban logistics and improving delivery efficiency. This paper explores the methodologies and technologies behind robotic delivery systems, focusing on their applications in package delivery, route optimization, and customer interaction. Through case studies, the paper highlights the benefits of implementing robotics in last-mile delivery, including reduced delivery times, lower costs, and enhanced customer satisfaction. Additionally, challenges related to regulatory compliance, infrastructure requirements, and public acceptance are discussed.
