Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) Drive System for Seaport Application

Abstract

This paper explains the drive system technology behind the Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) in the replacement of manually driven Terminal Prime Movers (TPMs) for the transportation of containers between the Ship-to-Shore (STS) cranes and yard cranes.
