Robotics in Additive Manufacturing: Enhancing Precision and Efficiency

Abstract


Robotics is playing a pivotal role in advancing additive manufacturing by enhancing precision, speed, and efficiency in production processes. This paper examines the methodologies and technologies that integrate robotics with additive manufacturing techniques, focusing on applications in 3D printing, material handling, and quality assurance. Through case studies, the paper highlights the benefits of robotic integration in additive manufacturing, including improved production rates, reduced material waste, and enhanced design flexibility. Additionally, challenges related to technology integration, workforce skills, and regulatory considerations are discussed.
