Design and Manufacturing and Explosive Ordnance Disposal Robot Chassis
Abstract
This paper describes the development of a lightweight chassis and drivetrain of an Explosive Ordnance Disposal Robot. It defines the design methodology of selecting the correct specification of a robot to define a general concept of the robot. The chassis and drivetrain movement concept is described and a finite element analysis is achieved to validate the strength of the robot under intermediate payloads.
