Smart Systems in Supply Chain Optimization for The Food Industry

Abstract


Smart systems are increasingly being adopted in the food industry to optimize supply chain processes and enhance efficiency. This paper investigates the integration of IoT, AI, and data analytics in managing the food supply chain, focusing on real-time tracking, demand forecasting, and inventory management. By examining case studies, the paper highlights the benefits of smart systems in reducing waste, improving resource allocation, and ensuring food safety. Challenges related to data integration and cybersecurity are also discussed, along with future trends in supply chain optimization.
