System Development of UUV for underwater inspection: Case study of UUV Rajaampat
Abstract
This paper presents a case study on the system development of a Unmanned Underwater Vehicle (UUV) for underwater inspection, focusing on the UUV Rajaampat. The system development process encompasses various aspects such as hardware integration, software implementation, and overall system architecture. The hardware components, including propulsion systems, sensors, and communication modules, are carefully selected and integrated to meet the specific requirements of underwater inspection missions. The software framework encompasses control algorithms, mission planning, and data processing modules to enable autonomous operation and efficient data analysis. The system architecture ensures seamless communication and coordination between the UUV and the control station, facilitating real-time monitoring and control of the inspection missions. The UUV Rajaampat system is validated through extensive testing and field trials, demonstrating its capability to successfully perform underwater inspections with high accuracy and reliability. The case study provides valuable insights into the system development process of UUVs for underwater inspection applications, aiding future advancements in this field.
