Designing an Expert System for Ragi Cultivation

The cultivation of cereals like ragi, jowar, wheat varies from region to region. So due to this there is a ambiguity and confusion among the farmers by comparing the other region farmers yield, cultivation schedule etc. So this leads to be taken into consideration an advisory committee should advice the suitable requirement for farmers. In this connection we have designed an expert system for our region of ragi cultivation. This expert system advises the former cultivation schedule as per the soil, irrigation timing, diseases prevention and eradication. The designed system have been tested in various atmospheric condition for soil and disease conditions. The results are quite encouraging.
