Airspace Integration Strategies for Safe and Efficient UAV Operations

Bourhane Khadmiry

Abstract

This paper discusses airspace integration strategies for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) to ensure safe and efficient operations within increasingly congested airspace. We explore various regulatory frameworks, technological advancements, and operational procedures that facilitate the coexistence of UAVs and manned aircraft. The study emphasizes the importance of developing reliable communication systems, traffic management algorithms, and safety protocols to mitigate risks associated with UAV operations. Case studies illustrate successful implementation of integration strategies in different regions, highlighting best practices and lessons learned. This research contributes to the establishment of safe and efficient airspace systems that accommodate the growing presence of UAVs.
