Automation in Petrochemical Logistics: Enhancing Efficiency and Reducing Risk

Abstract


Automation technologies are transforming logistics operations in the petrochemical industry, enhancing efficiency and reducing risks associated with transportation and storage. This paper examines the methodologies and technologies employed in automated logistics systems, focusing on their applications in supply chain optimization, inventory management, and risk mitigation. By presenting case studies, the paper highlights the benefits of automation in logistics, including improved operational efficiency, enhanced safety, and increased responsiveness to market demands. Additionally, the challenges of implementing automation technologies in petrochemical logistics are discussed, along with future prospects for their integration into supply chain operations.
