Smart Agriculture: Optimizing Irrigation with AI and IoT

Abstract


Smart agriculture is transforming irrigation practices by leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT) to optimize water usage and enhance crop yields. This paper explores the applications of AI and IoT in irrigation management, focusing on real-time data collection, soil moisture monitoring, and automated irrigation systems. By presenting case studies, the paper highlights the benefits of smart irrigation solutions in conserving water, improving resource efficiency, and increasing agricultural productivity. Additionally, the challenges of implementing these technologies in various agricultural settings are discussed, along with future prospects for smart irrigation.
